Third Person Controller Has No Camera, but there is one

Question

I have seen this asked many times and a google search produces results that only answer half the question. I know there needs to be a camera attached to a third person controller, and I do do that, but I still keep getting the error "no camera attached and the script is looking for it" I have tried setting its tag as Main Camera, nothing. I have tried re-importing Standard Asset for Character controller. Nothing. I use unity 4 and the default TPC and character.

There isn't any camera, just it's positioning script. You need Camera GameObject.

thanks for the answer. i do create game object. that is the issue. it still says no camera.
