Will active lights still affect a lightmap baked model?
Learning about lighting. If lighting was baked into environment, and simultaneously had non baked lights for characters, would the dynamic lights still try to affect the baked environment, and be a lost cause to bake in the first place?
Basically I'm asking can you have your lighting half baked(no pun intended) and it be reasonable thing to do?

I believe that real time lights will effect both dynamic and static scene objects. It should be pretty easy to check. Just import something that has been mapped and then shine a real time light on him and see what happens. I believe he will be effected by it. If I remember correctly before 3.5 Unity couldn't do this and objects marked as static would not receive dynamic lights.
