Tilemap not being synced across network
Hi,
My project is a 2D game based on a tilemap, when the first client connects, a script generates a random code and fills in the tilemap and this works perfectly for the first client.
The problem is when a second client joins. They don't get the updated tilemap that was generated by the first client, just the empty unfilled one. The tilemap has a NetworkIdentity. When the first client builds a unit or building, in game, this appears in the correct position for both clients.
My opinion is that the updated tilemap is not being synced on the Network just the client that connected first, and generated the map. I'm not really sure how to approach this as I'm not very experienced with networking.
Would really appreciate any insight here! Feel free to ask for any more detail.
