Sketchup models import with 0 verts/tris?
I use sketchup to model things in my game. Sometimes, if I import a sketchup model, it will import correctly for the most part, except that it will have several extra meshes that have 0 verts, 0 tris, and use the default unity material. Why does this happen?
I haven't used sketchup in a really long time So I don't think I could answer your specific question but what I use is blender. For me it works extremely well, I'd definitely suggest at least trying it out, it's totally free.
Here's a link to blender's sight : https://www.blender.org/
And here's a really good starter tutorial about making just a simple cup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y__uzG$$anonymous$$mxt8
For the cup tutorial there are two parts I think you should be able to find the second one in the description of the first.
