Why Unity takes forever to load my project?
I've been working on the same project over 2 years. It was pretty fast at the beginning but nowadays it's taking '50' minutes to open my 25GB project, and '50' minutes to close it.
I really need a solution, Unity taking 2 hours every time I open and close it.
My pc consist of 8GB Ram, Intel Core i5-9300H 2.40 GHz CPU, Gtx 1650 and 128GB SSD. Unity and my project are in the SSD. I'm using 2020 releases of Unity.

This fixed my long opening queue:
Edit/Preferences/General/Uncheck "Compress Assets on Import".
Is it in the hub or the project? I have similar issue but the project doesnt load at all.
Don't uncheck that setting unless you have all day to waste. I did it because I read that it speeds up load times and my project reimported everything so slowing I eventually just killed the process. Then I opened a small project and its been importing for 53 minutes. what ever this was made my problem way worse.
Sorry to hear that. It has worked perfectly for me.
If it had been checked, it would compress every asset every time when you open Unity.
I don't know why it didn't work for you. Perhaps you should reach Unity and send a bug ticket or something.
