Destructible Sprite Shape
Hello All.
I'm working on a game with script generated platforms where players will fight each other and may destroy terrain during that (e.g. missed shots, or affected terrain during other player hit). I've done sprite shape generation so far however it feels quite impossible to destruct terrain just like with Sprite Destructibles.
Change height / tangents of sprite shape as well as sprite variants makes some effect of destruction however when I change that - the whole shape is modified and I can see that grass (top sprite) is also changed because of terrain updates. Also when I remove the point from the shape - it is being connected with the nearest next point and having manual regeneration of two sprite shapes and handling two of them (and more in the future to potential exponential) is an overkill.
On the internet I haven't found any tutorials / documentation on sprite closed shape destruction.
Any ideas?
