unity 2019 freezes checking for compatible android devices
So after reinstalling Unity for the third time, it finally gets through searching for android jdk and sdk. It now builds my apk file fine, but when I build and run with my android device plugged in, Unity just freezes on "Checking for compatible Android devices". After 30 minutes of waiting, i had to use task manager to close unity.
-Phone is plugged in and unlocked. -Developer mode is enabled. -I can browse my phone files from my computer, so it's connected fine. -I have a Motorola G 2. -Project is a new empty project, all i did was add a cube in the middle.
I'm about to just install the apk manually for now, but it'd be nice if build and run worked. Also gonna try out Unity Remote app after, but again, I'd like this to fix this.
EDIT: Got Unity Remote 5, got it opened on my plugged in android device, selected Any Device in Edit > Project Settings > Editor, but when I hit run, unity once again freezes. But at least this time I get a warning message: Failed to extract Android SDK Platform version from string 'Q', Input string was not in a correct format.
