Get FOV of webcam
I want to do some simple AR thing without plugin like vuforia. The first thing i have to do is making the perspective of unity to match the hardware camera. Do you know how to do that? in Android, iOS and/or computer.
this guy has teh saem question: https://forum.unity.com/threads/how-to-match-camera-field-of-view-to-the-device-camera-field-of-view.366054/
the guy answering points to unity store asset https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/52154
but that solution has a bunch of other stuff attached, and one reviewer says there is limitations on the source code.

Cameras and webcams do not generally broadcast their FOV information to the computer, due to it varying greatly. I think you'll just have to find the camera specifications, and manually enter the camera FOV into your script. Sorry.
"due to it varying greatly" -- that is the reason for it to identify it's fov and not reason for it to not communicate it. its is relevant due to AR. but i suppose webcam standards haven't caught up yet. maybe some one is sitting on the patent.
