Rigidbody and Collision choices for 2D Adventure
I am in very early stages of a 2D adventure/farming game and I am curious about best utilizing the tools available. So far I have a player character moving around a tilemap and I am stuck (pardon the pun) on collisions. I have a separate tilemap layer for impassable objects and have added a tilemap collider to the appropriate components but my character only interacts with the colliders if I set its rigidbody to dynamic with 0 gravity. Is this the best way to accomplish interacting with impassable objects? Is there an option to turn off gravity entirely so I don't need to set this value on all relevant characters?
