Can't use Sprite Renderer inside UI objects?
I'm trying to create a simple GameObject with a changeable sprite and anchor it in the corner of my screen (liquid sloshing in a bottle). I've tried a few ways of accomplishing this without success:
(1) Creating GameObjects with the sprite functionality I want (works well), and then placing them as a children of a UI canvas to anchor in the corner of the screen. Result: Can't see in game view.
(2) Adding a Sprite Renderer (for the liquid) to a UI Raw Image and using the same "sloshing" script as in (1), while the bottle sprite is the image on the same or a separate UI Raw Image. Result: Can see the bottle in both scene and game view, but the liquid has to be resized in the scene view and is invisible in the game view.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!
