What is the best way to store grid-based level data?
I am making a grid based puzzle. Each level is a field, where each cell has a sprite, rotation angle, type, and so on. I want to make each level a separate ScriptableObject
to call them into a single scene. How do I best store level data (grid).
I'm new to unity, so a multidimensional array comes to mind, but there is only one type of data, and I need int
, enum
, float
. I want it to be easy to set up levels through the inspector and easy to save / load them
thanks :D
