2D impact force on instantiated sprites
The solution to this is probably simple but I just can't figure it out. My game is a 2D top-down shooter and I want to be able to shoot objects scattered around the levels. I've got this soda can which turns into a lying down can when you shoot it. But instead of it just laying there non-moving I want the sprite to sort of fly away with a bit of rotation relative from where you shot it. The problem with this is that since the original objects get destroyed when they die, the force added to them from the ray cast doesn't get passed on to the instantiated sprites. Help would be very much appreciated!
