Multiple timers on server as objects or prefabs?
My game is based on idea that player creates timers on server for certain actions. (For example sets his character to do a quest for 5 minutes in order to gain some random loot)
Server checks the correct duration for the action and is the player allowed to perform the action and if so, it would create a timer. After it it completes the player's action is done and the timer is destroyed.
I'm quite newbie with coding so would it be more wise to:
Create Timer object which I would use to create childs with custom durations as parameter?
OR
Instantiate a gameobject with timer and set a duration for it?
Any kind of ideas and suggestions are welcome!
