Hello, i was wondering how would i use models from places like turbo squid? i have for example a HOUSE download in that 7 diffrent winrar files, in each one of those, 3 truevision TGA images and a C4D file
you should extract the archive. by extracting the first archive the others will be extracted too and the files will be merged. the c4d is the file format for cinema 4d and you should use the tool to convert the file to fbx or another unity supported format and install the c4d on your system to let unity automatically do the conversion.
ok so in steps:
1)open the folder with the 6 winrars and extract to another folder 2) what tool here are you talking about? 3) how would i install the C4D?

the program is not that cheap to buy: http://www.maxon.net/ is the website of the software. search the net for a free c4d to fbx/3ds/obj or ... converter. you might find something. i am not an artist and did not visit the website of the tool before.
Does anyone know of a site in which I can get free models that are compatible with Blender?
