Unchecking compress imports?
I read in multiple places that unchecking compress imports would speed up unity load times. I unchecked it and unity immediately started importing everything again and took 2 hours before I killed the process in task manager, I reopened the project and it started that long import again so I left it over night. Its now been importing for 17 hours and my 500gb SSD I use for the project is running out of space. How can I undo this? every project I open now has the same problem. even a small test project for character creation that only has a few character models in it has swelled to 50gb. I cant get into unity to re check the option to compress. Also is there someway unity will recompress this stuff back to its original size?
version 2020.3 making a 3rd person rpg so the original project file size was about 100gb.
