Sprites for tilemap are being smoothed and contorted wherever there is transparency.

Sprites I've imported as a .PNG file for a tilemap aren't being displayed correctly wherever there is transparency. The edges are being smoothed and contorted. I'm using two different layers of sprites here to layer grass over dirt.

I've already spent a few days researching a fix and I've also gone through Unity Answers but either I didn't look long or enough or this is a rather unique issue because I personally could not find anything.
