Audio Questions

Alright so i have a game and now, there are 2 levels (scenes) and i want there will be music. now i want that the music will reset after going to the next scene, now that's easy and i know how to do that. but the problem, in my game, if you fall down it will reset the scene, which makes the music reset and i don't want that. so i just got this script:

GameObject[] objs = GameObject.FindGameObjectsWithTag("music");

     if (objs.Length > 1)
     {
         Destroy(this.gameObject);
     }

     DontDestroyOnLoad(transform.gameObject);

Now, before i continue, i want to ask something about the script, it works but i don't understand why. Yes i gave the gameobject a tag of music and it finds gameobjects with that tag and if there are more than 1 it deletes the original one, now, if it deletes the original gameobject that already the music started with, why the music didn't reset? Now in one short sentence, Why the music doesn't reset if the original gameobject with the music that has already started didn't reset?

Alright, now let's leave the script, it fixed my problem with the music reset after falling down. but because it doesn't get destroyed on load scenes, when i go to the next scene the music doesn't reset. how do i make the music reset after the next scene, while using the script?

edit: Now, i have another problem, after finishing level 2 (the second scene) it goes to a scene named "Credits" and the music keeps going which is another problem, i don't want the music to continue in the Credits scene, and in that scene there is a button that loads the menu scene which makes the music play in the menu too! but i guess that can be solved if i can stop the music at the credits. Please help me ): edit: So i just found a solution for the edit, i just removed the audio listener components from the camera but it's not a solution i want since i want in the future to put music in the menu and in the credits scenes, OOF please help i'm stuck here.

and if you give me a script or give me a solution can you explain please? i love to learn from my mistakes (it saved me a couple of times) and i'm pretty new so i'm not the best at it so if you give a script do something like //explanation, or just explain the solution, but only if you want too, it's fine if you will just help me, Thank you.
