AR Foundation render big prefabs using image tracking
Hi,
So I have a qr code image to track and display ar content on it. All that works fine, but I have trouble keeping the rendered prefab steady because it is much bigger than the image. For example, I'm trying to render a life size chess board and I'm using the qr code image to keep track of the first square.
The problem arises when i have tracked the image, and displayed the board, but when I move to the center of the board, the qr code is obviously not visible in the camera since it's on the first square. The tracking stays okay for some time but after moving to a few different squares, the rendered prefab always moves a bit so that it isn't aligned with the image anymore. If i come back to the starting square, the image gets updated and tracking is fine again.
So i would like to know is there any better way to render bigger prefabs using image tracking. I have tried using the anchor manager (seeing example in ar foundation sample git) but it didn't seem to improve anything much. For example, if I just add plane tracking manager component to my ar session, will that somehow improve this tracking.
