Android SDK Install Help
I don't know if this is on the right place but no one else helps me and I have tried method after method and cannot fix this issue. Here's my issue:
Ok so I can install the SDK without problems and it detects my Java without any issue whatsoever. But when I try to run it afterwards I get thrown an error of:
"WARNING: Java not found in your path. Checking if Java is installed in Program Files (x86)\Java. Checking if Java is installed in C:\Program Files\Java instead(64-bit)
ERROR: No suitable Java found..."
Can someone please help me. I set the path to be the correct thing and I tried changing it to all of the different paths to the thousands of java.exe files but nothing seems to work. I always get the same error and I don't know what to do. I have been trying to fix this for countless hours and no luck even with people's answers already on the internet. So please do not reply with something like "just recheck your path" because I have done so a thousand times. This is making me hate android more and more and I really want to get this thing figured out.
Thanks
Where is installed your JD$$anonymous$$ and what OS are you on?
btw you could check the searching flow inside the batch file /android-sdk/tools/lib/find_java.bat (you can try if it's in your path typing "java -version" on a command prompt)
If you'r running Windows 7/Vista, have you tried to "run as Ad$$anonymous$$istrator"? Though it's quite strange, I'm not having this issue (on Windows 7 Home 64-bit).
