Static batching and windzones - does wind count as moving the object?
I'm playing around with different settings to try and optimize my games as much as possible. And I get more FPS when my trees are marked with static batching compared to GPU instancing. I haven't completely decided if I want to add wind zones, so here's my question. Since objects marked as static batching must not move, can I use wind on these trees, or does that count as moving the object. As I understand the transform stays static, but the wind causes a "deformation" in the mesh, to make it look like it's experiencing wind forces. So, does this count as moving the object or not?
