Data folder not found
Hello Everyone,
I am working on a game which was working fine until now. After generating a windows build exe, When i try to run it, I get a Pop up saying "Data folder not found". The folder is already present there. I have restarted and re imported everything. Nothing solved this.

Possible reasons:
Your data folder is empty
Your data folder is missing some important files / is not complete
Your full path name is too long or contains path fragments which might cause problems.
To solve case 1 and 2 just delete the old build files and create a new fresh build.
In case 3 simply use a different path. Make sure the path isn't too long and make sure the folder has proper permissions. For example don't build directly to "C:\" or "C:\program files\" as those folders have limited permissions for a normal user.

If u suspect the unity editor, may be you could reinstall unity , choose default path, And build official example project.
I hope it will succeed.

Hey, Thank you for the answer.
Just now I created a new empty project and made an executable. This has the same issue. I think its the issue with unity editor. Reinstalling Unity solved my issue

just now,i met the similar problem.i found the reason is that the excutable program must have the same folder wtih your project.if they are different, this issue occurs.i guess the project folder include some important files which excuting the program.so,make sure your excutable program and project have the same folder.
