How to add more animation on the Bootcamp soldier?

I am trying to make a modified scene from Bootcamp demo, so that some buildings with ladders on the outer wall will be added. I am wondering what tools or ways can we do in order to add additional animations to the Bootcamp soldier? And which scripts and which part of them will be needed a modification and how?
