Does DOTS have a animation component?
I am just curious if DOTS has any animation playback built-in, if there is a package that supports the feature, or if I would have to make my own.

August 2020: Not yet
Dots implicitly expects we know how to build one ourself so far. There are few source code examples available how to do that but animation fundamentals aren't rocket science exactly so it's achievable to start with something even more simple than those.
Yeah, I just built one yesterday and I like it more than the normal mono animator. Thanks for the answer!
