Imported propeller's transform behaves in a weird way

so I'm trying to make a small war game (still at the very beginning because I was doing the models) alt text

but when I try to rotate the propeller for the flying animation, this happensalt text

and yes I tried to make it a child of an empty object and rotate that but for some reason it just overrides the transform of the parent (both being a parent and child the transform you see right here just overrides anything) I tried scripting so many codes to change the center of mass but still nothing happens. and the problem isn't my modeling because in blender the center of mass is dead center Please help because I spent way too much time trying to fix it Thanks in advance!

I was able to use a rotation constraint with the transform being an empty gameObject where I want the center of gravity (no parenting)
