Creating a 2D roguelike map like Vampire Survivors?
I'm in the process of making a 2D roguelike but this is my first time doing anything like procedural generation. I've looked at tutorials for procedural generation but none of them seem to be what I need for making a map like Vampire Survivors, where it seems to be just endless terrain with a bunch of premade assets popped down to give the map some diversity.
Could anyone give me advice on how to get a system like this working? I wouldn't say I'm new to coding but I am definitely not an expert. Any YouTube tutorials or advice in general would be greatly appreciated :)
