Apply camera render texture to directional light cookie
I'm trying to replicate the forest light scattering using light cookies. For the render texture, I place a camera that can only see a specific particle emitter in front of it. For reasons unknown to me, regular light cookies work for the directional light, and materials using the render texture also work, yet applying the render texture as a light cookie doesn't. From what I can tell, there isn't an option to turn the render texture into a cookie type.
I feel like I'm missing something obvious, as not many people have asked this.
