It is possible to create AnimationClip ingame whose do not loop / reset position?
my problem is :
I want to generate an Animator, an AnimatorController, and feed the AnimatorController with fully customize AnimationClip. I currently can create the Animator, the AnimatorController, creates AnimationClip with Transition etc...
BUT
the problem is that : i create AnimationClip who loop, i want to control this point. like with a checkbox ingame before the creation to say "ok this animation will not loop or loop depend on what I need". That is a first problem, because AnimationClip when it is created in the Editor mode i can see the wonderful check box "Loop" but I can not do it from the inside (runtime). Cause AnimationClip is not Animation. If I understand well, there is Animation who are fed with AnimationClip, and Motion (in the AnimatorConntroller) but I cannot convert one to another. (not sure about it)
I try to create than reload it as Animation to play on that thing, but that does not work.
I do not want to use Animation generation because I cannot control it like with an AnimatorController.
I try to create a State in the AnimatorController with HasExitTime who is a transition state who do nothing. But when I go to this state the Object with the Animator, reset his position and he is not supposed to do so. (I do not understand that too) He is supposed to stay at the last frame position, but no, and that make me sad.
I try to go with Root Motion, I can allow the Animator to be Root Motion friendly ! (ALLELUIA something work) BUT i can not make the custom AnimationClip with the wonderful option "Generate Root Motion Curves" from the Ingame only from the Editor Mode. Root Motion can be the perfect solution because when i try it with the game running and make generate the root motion curves, that was good. that was exactly what i want to do. but to do so, i need to access to the EditorMode.
If you want pictures, more infos, I can give you that :D
So, if you have a solution to one of my problems, I will be glad to ear it ! please enlight me !
Fiat Lux !
sorry for my English if this is not perfect, this is not my mother tongue.
