How can I make a simple Lobby scene, while staying in the same scene all the time?
Hi there!
I am working on a mobile game, in which the players can play over Wi-Fi, and connect at first over a lobby, where one player hosts a scene, and the other players can join as soon as a host is available.
The documentation of all the functions in Networking is not very clear, and I have trouble finding out
How to create a host
How players can see all the hosts nearby
How to connect to said host, and have an interface over which the individual clients can access the data from other clients or the host (This part I am starting to understand, the networking itself has a better documentation)
Has anyone any experience with creating a lobby like this?
Using the default NetworkLobbyManager or NetworkPlayerHUD does not allow me to just stay in the current scene as far as I know, and is a nightmare to understand.
I would be eternally grateful if someone could help me out with this, as this issue has been plaguing me forever now...
Thanks a lot in advance!
Cheers, lagidigu
