2D Portal Without Walls

Hello dears, I would like to know if there is a technique for portal without walls. What I mean is like in the image there will be a portals like a line on players path and not near wall. And the rendering should be same as in the image.

Any ideas, code samples, tutorials are appriciated. Thank you!
