Touch screen input for PC
Hello everyone,
Would anyone know how touch screen works for Windows/Mac? I noticed that there are a lot of arguments regarding iPhone touch screen, but does it exactly work on PC? In particularly I'm creating a game where I would like an option for touch screen support.
For example the HP TouchSmart PCs supports touch screen but how does this technology work? Does it use mouse input or any other functions?
Thanks in advance!

I don't know about multi-touch devices like the HP TouchSmart PC, but resistive single touch monitors like the one I have usually emulate a mouse: a touch simulates a click on that position, thus GUI buttons, mouse events and inputs work fine (provided that the cursor isn't locked - use Screen.showCursor = false; if you want to hide the cursor).
Thank you, this information is very useful and important for me!
