It's possible to uninstall a game via code (C#)?
I got a simple question, but I could not find on Unity Answers. It's possible to uninstall a game from a smartphone (iOS/Android) or PC via code, inside the game? Exemple: I press a button with my character inside the game and uninstall itself?

It's not possible on mobile, and while it's technically possible on PC via System. IO commands, it's very highly inadvisable. Just let the user uninstall via usual methods.

If you are talking about non-genuine software being detected, you could technically use Destroy() to kill the assets?
If someone wants to hack your game it serves them right, right?
Pretty sure you can't use Destroy() to permanently vandalise assets.
I heard you can :)
It's an interesting concept nonetheless.
Read the reference here. Immediate allows you to destroy assets permanently.
In the editor, yes, but in a build it's nothing that can't be fixed by simply restarting.
If you can permanently break the game if its detected non-genuine then the job is done :P
Restart all you like but if you can't play it...
I'll be tempted to play around with this when I have time.
$$anonymous$$ake sure you don't get false positives on your 'genuine' check, though, or you might get some very pissed-off users!
