How do I do neon/glowing effect?
Hello there, I am making a space themed scene for my game that I am making. And for one of the features for the space ship I need a neon or glowing effect on a spinning 'pole'. And I do not know how to do this. Can you tell me how by any chance? Or at least point me in the right direction. (I have already read the manual for the materials)
Thank you, Wade

Unity Pro includes a Glow image postprocessing effect. Make sure to have the Pro Standard Assets installed.
More can be read about it here... http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/Components/script-GlowEffect.html
If you don't have a PRO License you are somewhat limited, atlhough take a look at this post...

For future searches, we've released a glow effect on the asset store here. It can render a basic glow in as little as one extra draw call and has the option of using the alpha channel to make the glow effect as efficient as possible.
