What data does Unity store on Android?
I created a simple 2D puzzle game and I'd like to keep its size as low as possible. The initial size of the build on Android is around 50MB which is good but as soon as I start playing the following happens:
When data saving is turned off its size grows with about 8MB and I have no idea why. This 8MB can be cleared by the user without affecting the game and my mobile device indicates that it's not cache so what is it and why is it stored? I have a couple of plugins attached (Google AdMob, Facebook Audience Network and Firebase) and Unity Analytics is turned on maybe one of it stores something locally.
When data saving is turned on this 8MB jumps to 25 MB after the first save. At first I don't save that much information on persistendDataPath, my 'data.fun' file is only 5KB so I really don't know why it takes almost plus 15MB to store it.
Can anyone explain to me what's happening here? Am I doing something wrong or is it the way Unity handles data and there's nothing to do about it?
