Missing Room Scale XR Rig
I'm missing Room Scale XR Rig in a new project in 2020.3.24f1 - I've installed XR interaction toolkit + Samples, Open XR, Oculus Integration, Oculus XR & XR Plugin Management and I no longer have the Room Scale XR Rig. Does anyone have more info?
I can confirm that I am seeing the same in 2020.3.24f1. Where is the XR Rig gone. There is something in it's place I'm not familiar with called XR Origin but I can't find any documentation on it?
Thanks for confir$$anonymous$$g I’m not the only one. Can anyone from unity weigh in? I would love to know what I missed. Thanks!
I am also trying to make it work, but so far I havent found any info.

EDIT: Long story short XR Origin replaces XR Rig the component is very similar and has the camera offset and left and right controller if you expand and dig deeper. I tested with the normal workflow and it works the same as the existing XR Rig.
I did some testing this is not related to the version of LTS moving to 24f1. It's related to the XR interaction toolkit package. The package was updated from 1.0 to 2.0 on the 22nd of November. If you go to the package manager find XR toolkit and move the version back to 1.8 preview it will restore the old XR Rig action based. .

So if you want the rig go back a version to 1.8 if you want to learn the new approach check out the docs.
I made this video on the rig method. Once I learn the new approach I'll update that video
