Compile Unity code from IDEA
Hello, as unity projects can become very heavy to recompile and for unity to reload its domain, and due to the fact that we have very good incremental compilers in IDEAs these days, like in JetBrainsRider, I was wondering if there is an easy way to configure a project in such a way that Unity would not need to be running when programming.
Right now, in my case, it is not possible to have Rider run unit tests written for Unity without Unity running, due to compilation through Rider failing, due to references to Unity code.
A specific use-case I want to achieve: Jetbrains just announced a new IDEA, Fleet, which supports running the actual project in the cloud, and using your local PC as an IO device. I would really like to be able to use this when working on Unity projects... but I assume this system would not support having Unity run in the cloud, only the actual IDEA.
Any advice on this would be great, thanks!
