Memory usage in webplayer and profiler
I've noticed that there's great difference in memory usage between webplayer and profiler in editor mode.
In editor mode, the profiler says my scene used about 400MB. But when I build a webplayer version, I opened task manager and it said the exe is using about 800MB.
So my question is why there's 400MB difference between webplayer and profiler? Is there anything I can do to reduce the memory usage in webplayer?
P.S I'm using Chrome for testing
Hi, I have same problem on Unity 5.0.x. Have you managed to find out why is this happening or even better, a fix? Thanks
