How does Unity manage Scene and it's data.,How does unity handle scene and it's data
Hello everybody,
So far I understood how the ECS system works in Unity and really liked the architecture however I'm still curious how Unity deals wish Scene data like (mesh, animation, skybox, ...) all these high level data, specially with the new DoD architecture. Where does it get stored which class manage them? etc.. For instance in other engines (such as Godot) it have Scene graph to manage the scene data. So what's the equivalent in Unity? Does it store each data type in separate dynamic array (like mesh have their own dynamic array, animations etc...). Or is a scene an Entity and it have its components as meshes, animations, etc...
I would be really happy to have an idea how the engine deal with these data.,Hello everybody,
