Caching videos vs streaming them on mobile?
I'm making an AR app where the user has to find specific places/objects, for example a wall painting etc and then content is placed on that with Vuforia. I got the player working perfectly, the problem is that we might end up with a lot of videos that take space. The app will only be used in Finland as it is made for a specific city, so 99% of users have unlimited data, streaming is no problem. I'm just asking for opinions, should I stream the videos, or is it more reliable to download them, and is it generally OK to store videos in, say, persistent datapath? What is the correct way to go about this?
