Why Unity says my GPU is DX10 when it is DX12?
I am using the Microsoft Mixed Reality Toolkit to due tutorials and attempt to create applications to eventually be used with the Microsoft HoloLens. I have been going through one particular tutorial called MR Input 210 - Gaze. In this tutorial, multiple objects use some form of transparent materials and these materials use the Mixed Reality Toolkit Standard Shader. The models that should be transparent are appearing black and solid instead.
I have moved the same projects to three other PC(s), two of which have dedicated video cards (AMD and Nvidia) and another that has a different Intel HD Graphics GPU. All of the GPU(s), including the one that is failing, are DX12 capable according to the DXDIAG application. But Unity states that I am running GPU. I have searched online for any possible source to help me and everything I have found thus far, doesn't change the problem. This is the only difference I can find and I have tried to update the video drivers as well, but I believe I have the more correct driver.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
