Slowdown Unusual
I have noticed that when I change the terrain size to a smaller one, i notice alot of slowdown. Is there some way to get around this? for instance if I make my maps 1000x1000 i notice no slowdown at all, however I tested it at 50x50 and it's horrible. I changed it again to 100x100 and noticed the framerate increased quite a bit, but still very slow. Is there something I'm doing wrong? (for instance not changing any of the other values in "Set Resolution", I've only changed the length and width values.

The LOD is probably way high for that small of an area. You can increase the pixel error in the terrain settings, but if you're really going to have a small area like that, you should reduce the terrain resolution.
