Grass shading on terrain has weird AO
Hey guys. I'm putting grass on my Terrain object, and I'm finding that the grass is not tinting the way I want it to. Not sure how to fix it. Here's the problem in pictures:
As you can see, the ground texture and grass texture should be fading into each other. However, I'm getting this weird darkening towards the base of the grass. Both grass tints are completely white, as is the wind grass tint, so I don't think that's it. Any idea what could be causing this?
NB: This grass is not billboarded.
What shader are you using on your material? What import settings are you using for your Texture?
Hey robertu. I'm using default terrain and grass shaders here. Import settings for the texture don't seem to effect anything but they are currently [Format:Truecolour|Texture Type:Texture|Wrap $$anonymous$$ode: Repeat|Filter $$anonymous$$ode: Bilinear|Aniso Level: 1]
There is no visible darkening if I use a quad to hold the texture and not the grass system.
