You have said what you what but no particulars. The basic RPG inventory is all you really need, just alter to fit your need. There is nothing more to an inventory system.

Start small.

Create a list of integers (pretend that your inventory just consists of numbers) Figure out how to display everything in the list. Then figure out how to make it a list of structures or objects that have a string name and maybe a number representing it's value. Then figure out how make it display that data when you click on the object.

Keep refining and adding features once it works. You won't get anywhere if you just try to find scripts to copy, you actually have to figure things out on your own.

Starting simple is almost always the best answer because you learn to build up to the more complex things. $$anonymous$$eep in $$anonymous$$d, even the most complex inventory systems are made from a multitude of simple functions. The issue here is people only see the complex, rather then the simple pieces.

Sure. A basic inventory is a great place to start, although I'd argue that you'll gain more from figuring it out yourself, but whatever works for you
