How do you move a second character controller object on top of a first one when jumping?
Hi there!
So I have two character controllers that work independently, and I'm making a "hopping on" mechanic, where if you jump on top of another and then the bottom one it will "carry" the top one.
So the first idea is was clearly to make the bottom one a parent of the top one.
It works fine for when moving from left or right, but when the bottom one tries to jump, instead of moving the top one with it it seems to collide and thus it makes a sorry small hop instead of the usual jump.
If I turn off the top one's Character Controller from the editor when its hopped it works fine, but I rather have a more elegant solution than that.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
