Animated Sprite Renderer in uGUI

Hello all!

I have tried using a Sprite Renderer in a simple project along with the new 4.6 uGUI bits...

The sprite (and animation when using an animator) render correctly in scene view, but they never render inside of the game view...

Any thoughts? Can the Sprite Renderer and the Canvas Renderer be used together?

They are within the UI canvas elements bounds... Im not sure how that relates directly to the camera itself

Sprites should be within camera to render in game view.

That big UI canvas in scene view is for UI elements only.

if the sprites should be part of my UI... what would be the appropriate way to manage both of them together?

$$anonymous$$aybe setting the canvas camera to be screen-camera, would put them at equal sizes and manageable... I will try later

try adding an UI>Image and drag your sprite into its Source Image area.
