did you install that jdk with unity or manually from the web? becase I am using the jdk downloaded (for my unity version 2019 lts) from the hub, and hte directory structure and files are fairly different

well then I guess I downloaded the wrong one but I can't download unity from the hub for some reason :( Thank you! :)
It returns an error or something? maybe you cant download from the hub because unity already detects folders in the target directory and doesnt let you override. Anyway, you should have no issues using other jdks
hmm i'll go try deleting old files then, thank you!
