internet explorer 6 not playing external ogg files
does anybody have a issue with external ogg audio files not playing in there program in internet explorer 6?
$$anonymous$$icrosoft phased out Internet Explorer 6 support (since they're already on version 8, and working on version 9). You shouldn't go out of your way to support it, especially since less than 10% of the world uses it now.
I just found this and it re$$anonymous$$ded me of your question.

The only browsers you need to worry about supporting are Firefox 2 or later, IE7 or later (it's not that big a deal if it won't play nice since that happens often, just tell people to switch to a better one), Safari, Chrome, and perhaps Opera. The latter 3 tend to be kept quite up to date by their users so version numbers aren't as important.
unfortunatley i have to get it to work on ie 6 so any infromation about ie 6 would be appreciated
Well I can't say for certain that it's even possible since I don't know what Unity does in the background. You can try offering the DirectShow and Quicktime codecs from these links, respectively:
