How to get a better car acceleration using wheelCollider?
Hello, I'm new in unity and I'm trying to make a car game and actually I'm trying to get a high acceleration for the car, I use a method that works with animationCurve to calculatethe powerof the engine, but the problem is that the acceleration pretty slow than what I want(I use the wheelCollider ), even when I give the force directly without this method and I give a big value (wheel1.motorTorque= 1000000 ....) The acceleration stills less than what I want, it is acceleration from 0-100 in 4 or 5 seconds and I want to do this in only two seconds, thank you in advance and sorry for my English .
are you aware that motor torque is not the only thing that can be the issue here? If you have a car with the strongest engine on earth you can still not get forward if you have no way to apply the force on the ground. To say it clearly: Did you check the friction values on your ground and your wheel collider?
I left the wheel collider settings by default and I'm not sure what it is for (i am really new to unity ), please what should i do to get a better acceleration for my car. this is my current settings (just changed the radius ) thanks .
