Unity 2D Play animation when not colliding
I want to make an animation to play whenever the player character isn't standing or running on anything. So far I have a ground check beneath the character that only detects collision beneath the feet, this was used so that jumping can only be done once. Now I'm trying to make it so that any time the ground check isn't detecting any ground, the player will have the same animation. I don't want it to only play after a jump like most tutorials explain, as the player will also be able to fall. Also if I do get an answer, assume I don't really know anything about scripting, because I don't. Hoping someone can help with this.
