Why do my custom objects disappear when I start the game! ,Objects disappear when i start game.

So I'm very new to Unity, I just started doing their tutorial Karting project and i created new object. basically copied everything from the bowling pin and applied to to a sphere. The balls show up during build, and right before the countdown end. All the balls disappear into the ground! I have no idea what is going on or how to fix that. please help.
