Question by sirius_black9999 · Nov 11, 2013 at 07:54 PM · c#positioninggame window

moving the main game window

I am making a game that uses an android tablet as a controller, this means i have to run 2 instances of the same game, and since i don't have an android tablet myself, i have set up the project so that i can test the android build on PC as well, for convenience i'm currently trying to set up a batch file to run both the android and the pc versions simultaneously, but both of the game windows start overlapping, so here's the actual question:

Is it possible to set the position of the (top-level) game window on a desktop build

(as a possibly useful sidenote: i am using C#)

Why are you running 2 instances of the game?

... is it because you need the "tablet controller" for the pc version?

yeah, it's because i am testing it on PC since i don't always have a tablet available, so i'm running 2 different "versions" of the game, 1 which loads the PC side and 1 which loads the tablet side of the game,

i'm doing so through command-line arguments so i can start both sides through a .bat file, and it automatically sets up the network connection on startup

it's not like doing this is super-important-i-cant-continue-without-it but i was wondering if it's possible, since it would be convenient for testing
